Exchange rates tell you what your money converts to abroad — they don't tell you what it's actually worth. We built the PPP Salary Calculator to close that gap: a free, straightforward tool that uses Purchasing Power Parity, not the market exchange rate, to estimate what salary you'd need in another country to keep the same standard of living.

Our conversion factors come from the World Bank's public PPP dataset — the same data economists and international organizations use to compare living standards across countries.
